This master suite is truly a sanctuary for relaxation and solitude. Originally split into two disconnected spaces with the toilet and shower in an adjoining room, our client’s request in this complete transformation was to bring everything together in an open and inviting atmosphere. The grandeur of the high ceilings was ideal for commissioning a floor to ceiling custom vanity with arched millwork and we echoed the molding around the perimeter of the room to help pull the ceiling line down. The finishing touches include a slipper tub, a fireplace with old world soft limestone mantel, glass mosaic and handmade tile floor, and a custom made chandelier, creating not just a master suite, but a destination within a home.
